Bob Kagan says most Americans favor action against Iran

Why?? I mean not why is Bob Kagan saying that; I mean why are most people in favor of military action in Iran? And I don’t mean why are most people in favor of military action in Iran; what I mean is…who the fuck are these ill-informed roving bipeds to have an opinion on this issue one way or the other? Bob Kagan, today on Morning Joe, mentioned that polls show that a majority of Americans are in favor of taking action against Iran if they’re about to get a nuclear weapon. I don’t understand…the middle east is the biggest geopolitical clusterfuck certainly of our generation; there is so much history there, so many old rivalries and deep wounds, so many competing factions, and so many competing motivations that you need to do a doctoral dissertation to make heads or tails of what the hell is going on over there. And that’s just the middle east. The whole WORLD comes into play when you talk about taking action against Iran. China and Russia continue to do business with them. I don’t even know where these European fuckers are at; what would they do if we woke up one day and said “All right, time to saddle up and drop us some bombs on these sandnigger camel jockeys”? I don’t know. Do you? No. You don’t. You do not understand the interplay of factors there; you do not understand which countries would take which positions; you do not understand the ramifications of military action. Yes I’m sure some people do…eg. Zbigniew Brzezinski, father of the fabled retard Mika Brzezinski (boy the apple REALLY fell far from the tree on that one, http://andchristsaid.com/mika-brzezinski-is-an-idiot/). He is qualified to speak on this. Bob Kagan is qualified to speak on this. Some of these tent merchant experts know what’s what over there, to be sure. Eg. Ali H. Soufan (former FBI special agent) was on the Daily Show today talking about various middle eastern problems. And I would like to explain that a little bit more eloquently than “middle eastern problems”…but I can’t. There were so many intricately woven problems that he spoke about in great detail – in the span of 10 MINUTES, mind you – that he lost me pretty much instantly. I don’t understand the middle east worth a damn and I sincerely wanted to hear what this guy had to say, but my eyes glazed over as soon as he started talking. All I could think was “What the HELL is going on over there??” A million sandnigger countries, sunnis, shias, oppressive regimes, militant and irrational government, possible state-sponsored terrorism, sandnigger vs. sandnigger hatred and wars, US allies, Israel, oil, US track record of a domineering and interventionist foreign policy, etc. etc…what does this all add up to? I have absolutely no idea. And you don’t either, you plebeian monkey.

So when these pollsters are out asking people if they want to bomb the shit out of Iran…I have your correct answer right here. It’s “I DON’T KNOW.” It’s obviously a sticky situation. If Iran gets a nuclear bomb, they could possibly use it on Israel or even deploy it in other countries through non-state actors. But we attack Iran and then what? What does China do? What does Russia do? Iran says they have plants within the US that are ready to retaliate; is that true? And we just finished bleeding ourselves dry, literally and figuratively, with ten fucking years of war in Iraq and Afghanistan and further intervention in Libya. All anyone can talk about is the $15 trillion dollar debt and the moribund economy. Is the US really in shape to take action against Iran, which, by many accounts, is no Iraq? By many accounts, it’s a much more insidious threat. Which brings everything back to the point that Iran with a nuclear weapon is a potential RBD to the ass. Which means that there’s some inscrutable circular logic in play here. Which brings me back to my original point: where in the name of holy GOD do you get off having an opinion on this issue one way or the other? Some issues are JUST TOO COMPLICATED for nonchalant opinions. The economy, for example. The middle east, for example. Einstein’s general theory of relativity, for example. When I call you and ask you if you think that the general theory of relativity will one day be successfully integrated into a grand unified theory (GUT), do the right thing. Say “I DON’T KNOW.” The next time a pollster calls you and asks you a question about the perpetual dust-storm clusterfuck that is the middle east, do the right thing. Say “I want to crack you over the head with this phone; do you know who you’re talking to?? You’re talking to a nobody. A schmo.” When the President asks for polling on military intervention in Iran, I want the chief of staff to hand him a piece of paper that says: “Support action: ???%, Oppose action: ???%”. Do your job (yes YOU) and don’t answer questions that you have a 1% understanding of. Leave that to the “experts”. They’re going to fuck everything up anyway; might as well not sully your hands with an opinion.
