Look this is old news, everyone who needs to hate Obama hates him and they know why he sucks, but I just need to say this. Obama is useless. When he was campaigning he had exactly the kinds of qualities you look for in a leader (charisma and inspiration, and he exuded a sense that he knew how to seize the moment). He was lacking a few things, like say, oh….experience…. but people were so disillusioned with this monkey Bush (who was elected not once but twice and decided to invade a country) that they needed someone to inspire them again and give them hope that america could be restored to some vestige of its former greatness. (If you don’t believe that the era of pax americana is over, you’re delusional; even conservatives understand that.) So fine, he came in packing some good qualities. But the problem is that having charisma is not enough for being a true leader; a true leader needs to have fire. They need to be fair, optimistic and constructive, but they also have to have the ability to steamroll their opposition when their opposition isn’t being fair and constructive in return. I.e. they have to know how to shut down irrational people, weak people who pipe up with distracting arguments, and people that talk loud but don’t say much. There’s no way someone can “train” for that; you either have it or you don’t. To be smooth, have an iron spine, and to be able to deal with all sorts of nuttiness in a smooth yet ironclad way….oh man that’s a one in a million, one in a BILLION type personality. And Obama ain’t it. He’s got the smooth part but not the iron part. What’s bothersome is that he can see republicans are irrational, and yet he doesn’t see that as an invitation to open up his artillery and carpet bomb them, roll his tank over them, drop a nuke on them. That is the rational response to irrationality because….by definition, you can’t deal with the irrational rationally. No Obama’s response is “I believe we can all work together.” You IDIOT. See it’s very simple. If you’re arguing with someone one on one, and the person is irrational, and no one else is on the island….you lose. You can’t beat the irrational. (Just fire up that trichotillomania.) But if it’s you, the irrational guy, and 10 other normal (i.e. malleable) people with you….you win. THEORETICALLY you win. All you need to do is present your case in a better way, which should be easy since irrational people say things that make no sense and all you have to do is point out how dumb they are. But again there’s a certain way to do that; if you do it in typical spineless democrat style, the strong-but-wrong republican will steamroll you. If you’re just simply….good at debating and you can channel a touch of Jon Stewart when needed, you can’t WAIT to argue with an irrational person because there are so many ways to show how dumb they are, and basically the other 10 people on the island will have no choice but to agree with you and vote the idiot off. Feed him to the sharks for christ’s sake. But see that’s not Obama’s first response. His first response is “We’re all adults and we can work together.” For a “smart” guy he sure says some stupid things. If you disagree with a rational person, you can find a way to work together; if you disagree with Dick Cheney you cannot find a way to work together. There’s a very particular way to argue against irrationality, especially on a national stage, and properly paint the other side as the one that’s mucking everything up. It’s starts with the guy at the top setting the example and having an ARMY of people that can tear down the opposition in the same vein, saturating every facet of media with undeniable arguments; you do that and the polls swing your way, and the irrational opposition is sent back to their holes (where they can circle-jerk their neocon brethren sans interruption). It is not easy, and it’s difficult to imagine someone that could realistically pull it off….and for some reason you want Obama to be the guy that can do it. But, unfortunately, he’s not.
Now three things for the record. 1) I hate spineless democrats and I hate green PC liberals even more. But I hate irrational strong-but-wrong neocon good ole’ boy cowboys even more than THEM. 2) I don’t even know what Obama’s policies are. What the hell has he done? “Obamacare”, as the republicans love to say. Which is mystifying to me; all I know is that it passed, everyone’s premiums went up (mine sure as hell did), and my father, who was uninsured for a period, had to go to the hospital but he didn’t get shit covered from any kind of universal health care. I understand that Obama’s decent foreign policy-wise. But bottom line: white house communication just SUCKS because if they really are as good as Obama likes to claim, it shouldn’t be so hard to trace their actions and see what exactly all this “good” stuff is that they’ve done. And I mean this is coming from a popcorn political junkie that watches cable news of all stripes 24/7. 3) I actually probably agree with more conservative & libertarian positions than I do with liberal ones, particularly the conservatives’/libertarians’ darwinian mentalities. Truth be told, I can’t think of a single core liberal tenet that I actually agree with, except foreign policy….and that’s the same as the libertarian position anyway. But all that being said, that thing that irks me the most will eternally be the pure, undiluted irrationality of strong-but-wrong neo/paleo/fiscal/social etc. conservatives. I want somebody to shut them the FUCK up. I so wanted Obama to be that guy….but he ain’t. Obama + a dazzling ability to undercut the opposition, that would have been something, but it’s just not there.
So Obama….you can kiss my holy ass. Really. You billed yourself as the smooth guy who instinctively knows how to make things work, but you were all talk. The worst part is that you’re apparently stupid too, because after 3+ years you still haven’t figured out how to adjust your game. If you lose this election, I hope someone kicks you in the ass on your way out. If you win….I still hold out hope that you do some magical 180 and bring down the hammer since you’ll have nothing left to lose. But realistically, I know you won’t. You’re a smooth guy, a common sense guy, maybe a little too liberal for my tastes, but in the end, really you’re just a plain old vanilla dumb smart person. Somebody get this schmoe outta here.

So Obama is useless, clueless and without the mojo to fight his opponents? Yet, your writing gives no constructive suggestion other than come out and fight.
Do you really understand how your American legislative houses work? For if you do you would be less critical of Obama and more understanding of the difficulties he has had to negotiate through.
The Bible teaches that you should be respectful of your leaders and pray for them and not be insolent to them as you have been in your articles. May the LORD forgive you, whatever your real name is.
It would be nice to put you as the President as see how well you can fair. But then that would be really something beyond you ever!
So stick to writing blogs. Perhaps, one day you would mature enough to be more respectful of authority and other fellow human beings.
God bless you.

Oh come on now. “Nice to put you as the president and see how well you fare”? That’s a pretty childish argument. What I’m saying is that Obama’s personality, his leadership style, are exactly what are NOT required in this environment. You mention the processes of the legislative houses and the difficulties he has to work through. Yes that is EXACTLY what I’m saying. Look at the environment we’re in. The ideologically pure tea-party freshmen came in and changed congress from a vaguely useless body into a complete shitshow. Everything gets filibustered, and on every piece of legislation, they say “We’re perfectly willing to compromise as long as it’s done our way.” Obama’s response to this, for THREE YEARS, has been “We’re all adults and we can work together.” I don’t know what the solution is; I’m telling you what the solution is NOT. It isn’t Obama. When someone says “We’ll compromise if everything is done our way,” you need a leader that understands exactly what that means. It means that THERE IS NO COMMON GROUND. You’re not going to win arguments on the merits with people like that, so you have to go to your audience (i.e. the American public), prove that the opposition is packed with idiots, and let shifting poll numbers do the work for you. Obama doesn’t do that. His leadership style is not suited for an insane environment like this. He is DEFINITELY a guy I would want if the parties were ideologically divided but still trying to hammer out legislation based on common ground. That is not what’s happening. Obama is useless in this environment. Have you seen Chris Christie? As much as I hate republicans, THAT is kind of leadership style I want to see. The guy is a friggin rock, and that’s exactly what we need right now.
